I wonder if this system uses a microphone to sample each speaker's volume of a test tone at the main listening position. Kinda like the Audessy software used by Denon and other home theater surround systems. Kind of expensive to get the cockpit of your car 'room EQ'ed', but an interesting thought. First thought is great to just use this system to set up YOUR car, then pass it around to friends to set up their cars. But I'd guess this system holds the memory of and processes the sound levels for each individual speaker. And if Like Audyssey, also lets you set frequency cut offs for speakers too.An MS-8 will do wonderful things for your sound system, but it will not solve that annoying fake engine sound.
yepJust to verify, Ecoboost is the only 2015 Mustang with this 'augmented sound' thru the audio system right? Not V6 nor V8. I don't want any surprises if I upgrade my V6's base 6 speaker system.
Congratulations on figuring it out yourself, perhaps you can enlighten the rest of us?actually I figured it out
