Lets hire a transport. That would be my dream to track and drive some of those canyons with a few R's. It would be a vacation in my book. Anybody know the going rates for round trip enclosed transport from FL to CA?

You’re going to be in the 1500 range each way through a broker. Probably over 2k each way if you go with a top tier company.

I’ve been trying like hell to find a reasonable way to get my car down to Daytona. I drive my bud’s car when I go but really want to get my car there.

I got a buddy who owns a "comparable" car to the GT350. ;) "buckblu", as he tells me, has some kind of following on Instagram, which I don't know much about. I can ping him if there's space.

How about track car rentals? Anyone who does this? I see Hertz rents vetts, but something tells me somewhere that they probably have a way from keeping you from doing this.

Wow, that's a kind offer. Likewise, I reciprocate. If you ever find yourself in my neck of the woods, I offer the same.

But it is a difficult thing to take a pride and joy such as yours and take it out on the track. God forbid something should happen.

I work month to month. I will commit to the event and pay my share. I will try to find a way to reserve a car and do it that way. Let me look into a rental of some kind. I couldn't accept your offer to drive your car, but that is very gracious.

Lot’s of fun cars to chase and frustrate in the Mountains here (GT RS’s, m4’s , etc...) too
