I think I passed you on the last session early on and tried to stay ahead of you but was feeling too much heat and had to let you go back out in front. It was a blast! I had the Black R.
Nevermind I was mistaken. I am being told that the camber plate adjusting nut was where the issue I had was. Per my buddy that installed it: "the stud kept stretching not spinning"
I had mine installed last week by a shop here. He noted the same problem on the passenger side top nut. Interestingly enough he said that was the exact nut he couldn't get to tighten down on MM plates for a different generation Mustang and is having me keep an eye on it. After a track day with...
18 GT350 allocation black without stripes at MSRP in Arkansas. Let me know if interested. This is the salesman I bought my R from and he is great to work with.
I went round and round with them a week back. They keep saying they won't "price match". They sold me tires that said they were in stock at the time and then couldn't fulfill the order. When they canceled the order I called back and they told me to call if the tires came back in stock and they...
I was only one with the exhaust defeat module and I posted in another thread but I had no problem with sound the rest of the day once I had them in properly. 90.4 dB to be exact but crew said I won't get a sound violation until I hit 91.0.
I had them on my 16 tech pack and they were awesome. Planning on putting back on the R very soon. I highly recommend the flex fuel tune especially if you live in California.
Nice meeting you Chris! I'll get my pics up eventually and maybe even a video if I can figure out how to. Sorry I screwed up the potential picture of all 3 GT350s in our run group on the corkscrew at once:doh:
Extremely easy, like the post above me says. Jack the car up to get better access. Reach up to the valve actuator, slide back red clip on the connector and depress it to disconnect. Plug module into this harness. Done.
Yeah I'm only planning on using the module at tracks with sound restrictions. How hard is it to hit the sport exhaust toggle switch anyway? I love flipping switches and pushing buttons on my steering wheel.
Just wanted to put this out there because I was approached by multiple GT350/R owners yesterday at Laguna Seca that didn't know about this. I heard about Grimmspeed's "exhaust valve defeat module" and decided to put it to the test. I can verify that it works at Laguna Seca meeting the 90dB sound...
Sweet! I'll see you there. I'll probably be in same class. By the way SpeedSF is hosting at Laguna on Feb 19th and I also plan on going that day if anyone else is interested. I'll have caster/camber plates and my MGW shifter in by then and possibly e85 tune so I'm curious to see how much I can...
