welps. sold for $76k + bat fee so $79,800. lower than i thought. but still buyer paid $10k over MSRP for a 3-yr old car.
So it was a bubble then?

Not sure that $10k over MSRP for a used car is saying there's not bubble or not ;)

When you back in town?

I wouldn't say bubble but much less than many of the recent sales for such a low mileage car. "$10k over MSRP" is a bit of a stretch. First, who knows what the seller paid? Back in the gogo days GT350's, much less R's were usually marked up. Plus, we all like to conveniently leave out sales tax, registration, and insurance for 3 years, not to mention finance costs and in this case window tint and PPF.... and BAT fees don't accrue to the seller. Seller didn't get hurt for sure but it certainly was no windfall for them.

Fwiw, even though these sales seem high, remember, most people paid a $5K-$10K ADM when they bought the car new. So that needs to be figured in when reselling the car, and what it's original price was.

$10k over MSRP is just that, MSRP + $10k. That’s pretty good increase.

No one said it was $10k over ADM + MSRP + associated dealer fees, which the market could care less about.

This is a good sign.

I don’t know if it’s a great price. For a buyer yah, but that dealership is trying to move the car so don’t know if it is reflective of a high mileage version as there are others priced higher at other places.
This seems pretty typical of R prices with moderate miles. One near me was going for 62K with 25K miles, so this having 7K miles seems about right.

So what have we learned? As you can see, BringaTrailer fucking exploded with GT350R's in the month of September with 9 cars. Here are some of my quick thoughts...
- 2020 is clearly the year to have outside of 2015. The last three 2020 cars all went for 110-112k.
- $112,000 is the new benchmark for GT350R's (not including 2015 MY or any special versions of the car)
- 2019 cars are the next most desirable at the moment. Gen2 motor probably the reason. That and some of the other updates that model year received.
- Cars with LOW MILES trump spec at the moment. Two 2019 R's crossed the block in the same exact spec and yet one sold for over $21,000 more due to having low miles.
- Lot of ups and downs this month.

Would love to hear your guys thoughts.

I wonder what my 2020 Iconic R that just turned 14k miles would go for in this market. Clearly significantly less than the wrapper cars. $80k? Not really interested in selling because it is so awesome but hard to ignore what they’re going for.
