You didn't ask the dealer when they called you? Most likely previewing the build that's going to be done is my guess.

Charles, I've ordered many cars, and never heard of previewing an order. But, that doesn't mean there isn't such a thing. When you find out, let us know. Good luck, I hope you get a "Target Production Week" really soon. Now, I do know that is a thang.

My dealer told me this two weeks after I ordered and I got my VIN along with it. Not sure what it meant but was happy to have a VIN.

got home from work and there was a notice from COTUS in order processing that's it no dates yet
