So I want to get some matte black stripes on my car and am concerned about getting the prep right before hand as well as how complicated it's going to make my details afterwards...
So far I haven't done any special treatments/paint correction on my car. But I was going to wash with dawn, iron x, claybar, then use jetseal and wax on top. Is any of this going to interfere with the stripes (I'm guessing the jetseal and wax might have to be stripped before stripes go down?).
Once I get matte black vinyl stripes... will I be safe to just seal and wax overtop? Or am I going to have to carefully go right up to the edge (as well as the thin area between the dual stripes)? Seems like a major PITA if I can't go overtop and may have me reconsidering the install.
Thanks for any input
