Hey all,

Just wondering if there is a way to order parts for the bigger screen that comes with premium models? I know eBay has some off-brand options that will fit but I had a 2017 premium before and I really just liked the system that was in it stock. Now my 2018 PP is a base but I really want the bigger screen. Is there a way to order parts to make it work from Ford? Is it something I could/should pay the dealership to do?

Apologies, I've never really done this type of stuff to a car before. I've seen some people with the 15-17s that have the bigger screen but still the base (non-toggle switch) buttons at the bottom of the unit. I know, I should have just found an 18 base with the bigger screen :frusty:

Thanks all!

All the part numbers and information is in this thread. It isn't something that would be normally offered or done by a dealership, but maybe an audio shop would consider it if you provided them all the information up front.

Just do it yourself, the hardest part is getting the screen/apim for a good price.

As far as sourcing the original Ford parts:

eBay - the most obvious choice for new, NOS or used car parts
Ford Dealership - most expensive option since prices will be for new retail
LKQ (http://www.lkqcorp.com/en-us/) - usually good source of quality used Ford parts
http://car-part.com/mobile/index.htm - used car parts at reasonable prices and you can search in your region
http://www.greensalescompany.com - another source of Ford parts
Shelby - usually has new takeoff parts they sell off

Try local auto recyclers/dismantlers in your area to see what they have in inventory for used parts and pricing.
