I'm fully loaded and really there isn't much I think I could live without. Maybe the heated steering wheel, cooled seats, B&O stereo. Everything else I love.

Favorite features are the Magnaride, Active Exhaust, and digital dash.

One of the great things with domestic is you can get so many options and luxuries for a decent price.
I may have to test one with magnaride.

Ford needs to ditch the tiny 4" screen on the non-premium cars. Even the Ford Bronco gets an 8" screen on the lesser models, and a 12" screen on the upgraded models. That 4" screen is an embarrassment and shouldn't be in these cars.

The active exhaust should be standard. I know Ford loves to sell that 301A package for an extra $2000, but simply adding it to all cars would not cost them very much.

Drive modes should be standard on all Mustangs, and ditch the dumb one-way toggle switches.

For the 6 speed guys, what transmission would you like to see Ford use in these cars?
I think having a clutch upgrade option would be nice for the PP cars as well.

Tremec TR-3160

But I think I'd prefer that 6th gear not be spaced as far away from 5th. The 3160 is offered with other gearsets, one of which uses an 0.75:1 6th so it's not like it would be impossible to tweak just one of the ratios.

I'll have to agree with @Crash89, it has to be a manual. Didn't realize how happy it would make me vs my old auto gt. Everyone has their own preference and this is mine. I don't care much about anything else as long as my car goes :giggle:
I have had manual transmissions in all of my mustangs and both corvettes. I enjoy actually driving the car but this was the first time I went auto in a mustang.

My A10 was nice before it started taking a fat steaming poo.

Most likely going back to manual next gen.

I have the 400A cluster. I like the look and would get it again but would have liked the other 401A stuff available as options along with the two dedicated analog gauges that are provided with the PP package.
Does the 401A have an engine oil pressure gauge display?
The 400A display does not..at least that I can find. I can cycle through about 5 different analog display read outs. It only lets you display one at a time....just not engine oil pressure, only engine oil temp.

Nope. If I recall the original ones did back in 18’. Then there was a software update and it disappeared. There was never an answer given as to why.

odd that engine oil pressure is not a standard display. I assume they're monitoring oil pressure. maybe just looking at minimum oil pressure through a switch but don't have a transducer to track actual pressure.

As far as the creature comforts go, I had a rental with a heated steering wheel and it's going to be a must for my next car. Wearing 20 layers in the dead of winter, it takes heated seats a while to burn through all those layers, so by that point the engine is warm and I can just run the heat. But I can't drive with ski gloves so at best I'm wearing thin leather gloves, and my hands get cold instantly. Having a heated wheel in that rental was great.

I have the heated and cooled seats only....originally I was going to get a base GT...no frills, just a coyote and 6 speed but I couldn't help myself:)

I'm fine with the basics, cruise, AC/heat, power windows and seats. All the otherstuff never use. My car is for transportation, not entertainment.
