You mentioned you bought the car used and it had 14,500 miles on it, correct? If so, that is why the original Cup 2's are no longer on the car. From everything I read, the Cup 2's would have been worn out well before 14,500 miles.

Doug
Mine have 2800 miles on them and look bald too. They are designed for track use only but for some reason they put them on there....oh I know FOR KILLER GRIP!! :cwl:

If I may jump in and agree, the original SC2's wouldn't have lasted 14.5k miles so no surprise there. The 285's and 35's are kinda curious but some folks don't like the poke.
My original SC2's trammlined like crazy but my Michelin P4S don't at all, great wet and dry traction too so something to consider.

Longer front splitter, short rear spoiler, 1/2" lower stance, manual, 3.73 gears, larger front and rear sway bars, Magneride shocks (electrically actuated) are all little things that the PP2 has to set it apart from other models if your curious.

Let's not forget how much lighter your wallet is after buying one!!

But it is well worth it for smiles while driving it more than make up for the cost!!

Let's not overlook the PP2's unique calibrations for AdvanceTrac , EPAS and ABS, that you can't duplicate otherwise.

Have to think if that's the case, the more hardcore you go toward a road course kind of car or trim, the more likely some other trim would be a better match. No flame intended, but this gets into the individual knowing himself.

Question about PP2 on 2019. I just bought mine, with 14,500 miles on it and it has Nitto 555's. 305 in back and 285/35 front. Does that mean the original user replaced the Cups already or did some come with these? Mine will "tram" at times with the Nittos.
Sounds like someone followed Zander13 's setup

But his is not a PP2

Oh yeah, the smiles driving it for sure. Love your red color BTW.

Mine was just under 37k, 41 out the door. Was a leftover '19 that had been on the lot for a year. Not a premium, no leather, no digital guage, no B&O stereo but has voice sat/nav and the fun mechanical parts underneath so I'm happy with it as a weekend warrior.

Ah, thanks. I got the cups confused with the Pilot Sport, that I initially looked at as a replacement. The Nitto's look new, so guessing they have not been on long.

Ok, rechecked.

285/35/19 NT555 G2's on front
305/35/19 NT555 G2's on rear

Guess they had to replace the originals and went up to 35 series for some reason.

35 series fill out the wheel well a little better. I think, like has been said here before, they went skinnier on the front to eliminate the poke. The other solution is splash guards.

Another thing of not they do have these little guards like that on the front. Called rock blockerz or something. Hey I guess at least I have pretty new decent tires lol.

I got rid of my Cup 2's after 150 miles and I was going to go with 305/35's all around for that very reason. Unfortunately, the Michelin Pilot Sports were on backorder and unavailable, so I went with 295/35's Pilot Sports all around. Even the 295's fill in the wheel wells better.

Probably to fill the wheel gap. Worked for me but I still have 305s on all 4. I also have those little mud flaps for the front and not a single rock chip yet.

I wish I could figure out how to transfer my on board video to this forum. This is a very good track car / daily driver and it is hard to beat the bang for your buck in this car and most importantly, it puts a huge smile on your face. I have passed GT 350's and I am neck and neck with a GT 350 R at Area 27. The next thing for me to do is get 18" wheels and slicks to run on the track.
