PP2 + Angeles Crest Hwy = Self Induced Nausea/motion sickness

I took the PP2 out this morning at the crack of dawn, starting on the eastern end of the ACH and going as far as Tujunga Cyn where it is closed. Had no one in front of me the entire time on the way out, and no real slowdowns on the way back, and went fast as hell. I went so fast in the corners I made myself (motion) sick and thought I would have to pull over and barf. The only other car that did this to me was my 07 ZO6, but this was more severe. I was happy to get back to the 138 where the road finally straightened out.

Great road, and the PP2 just begs you to go faster and faster, and that's when I started turning a little green in the face

My friend and I want to do 38 up to Big Bear next - preferably early morning on a weekday - I can shoot you a PM.

The problem with the Crest is there are many areas with big rocks in the road (~5 in. diameter) - it's a bit unsafe right now. I got lucky, but sometimes had to slam on the brakes to avoid hitting them. I hear the 38 is clean.

I have driven it but never in a spirited way. What I would worry about are cops. Would at least like to go hang out and ride with someone who knows what they’re doing

I've done it twice - out and back starting on the eastern end at the crack of dawn - never saw a single cop.

That said, I know a few mountain roads where I've never seen any cops.
