They do look good!

When you fitted these could you notice any improvement in the car acceleration or ride quality wise from the big reduction they gave in unsprung mass?
Thanks first of all. Acceleration is really hard for me to tell as I don't really shoot the power from the line but mathematically, there is no doubt. They do stop a lot better for sure but that also probably has something to do with everything being replaced. Handling is also something that improved with the reduction of rotational mass. Someone calculated the loss of 32 lbs in rotor weight being unsprung calculates to over 80 lbs. One thing for sure is that you can definitely feel the weight difference.

I ran the AP/ Essex discs on my previous cars as well as with the GTPP brembos.

First difference is the jhook design, it has been tested to be superior over slotted and drill by keeping the disc at an even overall temperature. I have also found them to last much longer over Girodisc.

Then the biggest difference of all is that they are a true 2 piece disc unlike the Wilwood for example that is fixed to the aluminum hub.

Since it's fixed the disc cannot expand when it heats up. Whereas the AP disc can since the aluminum hat is slotted.

Coleman Racing in Menominee MI. ;)
Been thinking of the Coleman option. What are the F/R hat dimension so we can use Coleman? Their stuff is always more user friendly than say Baer.

StopTech has a two piece for the PP Brembo PN 81.345.9911. Listed from $1000 to $1300 for the pair of slotted rings, hats and attaching hardware. I have Stoptechs on the resto mod but in 14" with ST40s. The rings are pricy but I've found them for as little as $230 each for the 14".
