Did a quick search with no results.

Is the PP clutch horrible after a while? I'm worried about it now, after I've virtually locked in my purchase. Just cold feet, I think. :ninja:

No if you leave the spring it is a very easy clutch in traffic.

I took out the clutch spring at 200 miles. I use my GT/PP as a daily driver and have zero problems even without the clutch assist spring. In fact, I much prefer it this way.

For what it's worth, I don't believe there's any difference in the clutch in a PP vs non-PP car.

FYI, the manuals are all the same, there's not a PP specific clutch (I realize you're probably just shopping a PP car ...)

I will admit that my foot gets a little tired on my way home from work but I'm on my feet most of the day, and have an hour drive home at 20mph. Other than that, normal city driving when NOT in rush hour is eaaasssy.

And as others said, the clutches on PP vs. non PP are the same.

It is ridiculously light even with the helper spring removed, compared to every other 3 pedal car I've ever driven. A 90 year old woman with osteoporosis wouldn't have any issue.

No problem with mine in London gridlock. Just means I go little crazy once I hit the open roads.

The clutch is very light and no issue at all. The car is very easy to drive in city traffic. The abundant torque is a big help, it's actually easier to drive than my old BMW 325Ci.

This is my first manual car and with the clutch spring out it's 100% fine in all my all-city stop and go commute.

No clutch spring in my daily driven PP and have zero complaints. No need to worry

no issue at all. I get stuck in grid lock from time to time.

Most of the time I leave it in second gear as I get stuck in a lot of 2mph to 15mph situations.
