My 2016 GTPP will match RPMs as I'm upshifting, e.g. engine speed will hang at the correct RPM for the next gear. I know there is no setting I can change to turn this off, but is there any way to have the dealer disable this with a factory programming tool or something?

Stock 2016 GTPP. I notice RPMs drop very slowly when the car is cold. When I'm just slowly leaving my neighborhood in the morning, it messes up my timing for shifting smoothly. My previous MT cars all dropped faster when cold. Is this some kind of emissions / warmup thing?

The clutch is very light and no issue at all. The car is very easy to drive in city traffic. The abundant torque is a big help, it's actually easier to drive than my old BMW 325Ci.
