Could it provide enough power for a detector or dash cam?On premium models with auto-dimming rearviews, yes.
The camera is in the trunk lid; the display on non-premium models is on the 4.2 inch screen tucked between the speedometer and tachometer.ALL mustangs have an auto dimming rearview mirror
also all mustangs have backup cameras and I think it would be safe to say that the base models have it integrated into their rearviews (need confirmation)
The fuse on my 2011 is only a 3 amp, so... I doubt it.Could it provide enough power for a detector or dash cam?
Are you sure it's between the gauges? I thought it was still in the console on the non MFT screen. The camera is in the trunk lid; the display on non-premium models is on the 4.2 inch screen tucked between the speedometer and tachometer.
There are two screens on the non MFT cars -- in between the gauges, and in the center console. Both are 4.2" screens. My understanding is that the rearview camera display will be in the dashboard screen, but I could be wrong on that. Are you sure it's between the gauges?
