Auto dimming rear view mirror

Ok...

So at NIGHT, the new rear view mirror will auto dim to blackness based on extreme brightness of traffic headlamps from the rear of the vehicle...

But when there is that gigantic flaming ball of what we call the sun rising over the horizon during sunrise, beaming from behind while on the highway - the mirror does not dim... and my eyeballs have been singed out of my head like a kid using a magnifying glass to burn ants on a hot summer day...

It uses two sensors one front and one back. Only when the front one is dark, it turns dark if back one is bright. When both are bright, it does not do anything.
