Anyone else having or had a issue with any accessory items being left on even after the cars off and locked. So basically I have a radar plugged into my 12v in the front and I start the car it turns on that’s fine and dandy, but when I turn the car off completely no accessory mode or anything and lock it it it’s still on. I looked thur my window today and saw it was on but the light in the car was off the doors were locked and the key was inside. I’m afraid eventually it’ll run my battery out. I’m not sure if anyone else had this issues or I need to get it checked by a dealer.
Any thoughts??

I dont think it is an issue as such, it sounds like wherever you are picking up power for the radar device it is using contant 12v not the accessories circuit

I thought the car would only turn off dome lights, headlights etc., not accessories plugged in?

I was going to quote you the manual, but for some reason I could not find it mentioned there when I looked now. There's a timeout of about 15 minutes after you turn off the car before the power to the 12v sockets are cut, if you are referring to the 12v cigarette sockets that is.

Delayed sleep mode about 12-15 minutes after locking doors.

Is that in the dash settings or the sync 3 settings?

AFAIK, neither. It's not anything you can adjust/change.

Just relax, it's fine.

Something sometimes keeps mine on. Normally I have the 15min time out. But in some instances it has stayed on an hour or more. Yesterday beings one of those occasions. I went into Dr office locked door. The Automatic door made my radar detector to beep. 1.25hr later I come out and hear the detector still going off and my dash cam still on. Wish I could figure out what leaves it on. Sometimes I would like it to.

Your hitting the un-lock button as you walk up. Or the car sensing the key-fob in your pocket.

I bought the car brand new and had 600km already but then the "full accessory power active" came out of knowhere
I was able to figure out by myself since I could not find any answers on other forums or websites indicating the problem. The owners manual dont tell you anything.
How to:
1. Let your car to chill for a bit (idk if that helps but that's what I did)
2. Press Start button without pressing breaks
3. Then press the breaks and press the start the button again

Hope this helps if anyone is have issues removing the "full accessory power active". This is the step by step process that I did to fix it. I have no issues after test driving it for 2 hrs.

I'm not following you?
The "full accessory power active" message is a completely normal function of our Mustangs, it is not a fault. It happens all the time in my 2017 model.
It means you have full power for all accessories, the USB and power outlets, without starting the car.
Yes, if you want to disable it, to save the battery from draining while sitting in the car without starting it, you simply press the start button again.

Same here like the radar just stays on and like mine auto turns off from the radar after some time so its not always on but like that shouldn't happen. Like there been times where I went to walmart and came back 20min after and the radar is still on it doesnt cut off completely. I dont unlock it or anything like i can see thur the car and see that its left on!

It would happen in the mornings or other times if it was sensing. Plus I would hear the radar making its ready statement. Plus dash cam shows the whole time recording. Again its random and rare so doesn't bother me.

My 2019 didn't do this if I recall correctly. My 21 does.
