Hey guys. The past week or so everytime I’m driving my car around the screen completely cuts off and doesn’t come on till I restart the car. I’ve checked the battery it’s all good. I’ve checked the negative and positive and it’s on there firmly. Does anyone have any idea what this is ?

Does the screen go blank around the same time, every time? For example, 15 minutes after turning the car on? Or, does it go blank at random intervals? Do you suspect temperature being a factor? Does it happen when other devices are enabled or turned off?

It will come up as power saving mode please turn off or start engine then go black completely without Bluetooth or anything it’s more on a random interval. I’ve tried turning ac off or not having my phone connected and it still does it. One day it won’t do it but today it did it everytime I drove the car. I have no idea how to fix this.

I've noticed several threads here and elsewhere highlighting possible battery or electrical issues. For example, if the voltage seen by the car and its electrical system is too low, it can trigger what you are experiencing to save the battery or reduce drains. Thread is early. Others with more experience and knowledge can chime in and hopefully provide better feedback. Noticed your car is listed as a 2016. Has the battery ever been replaced? Have you had a chance to perform a general alternator/battery check?

It's probably your battery.

If it's more than 3 years old, it's definitely your battery. These cars eat batteries.
