Guess I'm just old school, squeeze out every bit of power you can from the motor before adding forced induction... Even tho I'm only 23 haha

If you have the money, it's a great way to go. If you are getting more power from N/A mods, it means the car is breathing easier. As soon as you go FI that increase in airflow will still be present, so for a given amount of boost you will be making more power. Or, you can make equivalent power at a lower boost level.

If you don't mind spending the extra money, it's an excellent path.

That's my plan, I figure in the future it will mean I get to run less boost to make the same amount of power as everyone else which is always easier on the motor

Car noob question... does this increase engine displacement?

Nope just more flow through the engine, displacement is only done bore boring out the motor either in piston size or crank size

I was thinking the same thing in the near future as far as porting and polishing as well as replacing some other parts in the front of the motor for higher reving like the boss, and going FI much later down the line after its payer off. Would definitely like to see what kind of gains you get from yours if you do it.

I've been trying to get some prices and numbers from different places. Both mmr and jpc racing will do the heads of I send them in. Mmr charges roughly $1300 for stage 3, no answer back from jpc yet tho, trying to see if there is any local places, my shop said he would do them but car would be down for a while cause they are swamped with work. Mmr said their would be roughly a 25cfm increase over stock and aprox 40hp on a stock block with nothing other than a retune.
Unfortunately I won't be able to do as soon as I want :/ just bought some frpp half shafts and I'm moving within the next month or so

1300 for both ain't too bad, wonder what the lead time is on that. Plus GT350 around the corner maybe those heads would bolt up, just a waiting game to see who is going to be the guinea pig and take the plunge. To see what's more cost effective.

The guy at mmr said we are looking at a 2 week turn around time, course us gotta figure in how much it would be to ship the things in, postage cants be cheap on a set of heads!

I thought our heads had the same combustion, intake, and exhaust port size but utilized the boss valve springs, lifters and valves? I could be very wrong tho haha
From what I understood, the heads were casted to be more like the Boss as well.
