Popping exhaust: Yes please.

my coyote definitely pops/crackles under deceleration.

pretty sure it has absolutely nothing to do with the exhaust. it's the tune. pretty sure.

I love the sound upon deceleration. It sounds mean as hell. I don't have a tune, but have a H-pipe.

My Corsa gets a really nasty pop sometimes on a hard decel, I love that cracking sound.

I have the same exhaust as you and no tune and it is mean!

Mine does, on almost every good downshift. It sounds so mean, I can notice my driving habits changing to produce more of it. I don't have a lopey idle (I believe that is related to your cam) but definitely good burble and pop. I noticed it as soon as the H pipe went in, coupled with Corsa Sport AB. Good stuff.

I plan on getting Stainless Works, ARH or Kooks long tubes and Corsa Extremes. That has the best sound I've heard so far. I just hope it pops under the decel.

I'm not sure you'll ever get the sound of an 03/04 cobra or Mach1 out of an s550. While the s550s sound good, it is my opinion that the Cobras and Machs were/are the best sounding mustangs produced to date.

Its simply a different engine. Certain configurations of the 4.6 were so throaty, so perfect throughout the RPM range, but at the end of the day its just a sound. I like making more HP. I think there are now a wide variety of options to choose from, that will suit everyone's tastes. I spent time listening to every sound clip I could and even the ones I didn't like didn't sound terrible, they just weren't for me. I don't think you can go wrong with ARH, Corsa, or Roush with a midpipe of your choosing. Just get that resonator the hell out of there and you are halfway on your way to making it sound like a muscle car.

I have an H pipe and the Roush AB and I can tell you I had the pop sound when letting off the gas and it sounded good . I put a JLT CAI and a Lund 93 Tune on my car with an N Gauge and I don't know how or why but my exhaust no longer does this and sounds more tame :( especially at an idle and when letting off the gas . Maybe someone can explain?
