Hello all:

First post here. Bought the car in summer of '21 and have loved this ride ever since. This is my 4th Mustang and it is a 2019 Bullitt, M/T in DHG.

Anyway, recently I have been having troubles getting the transmission into 1st or Reverse. I hear and feel a clunk and it takes some effort to get it seated in gear. I have looked over all of the TSB's and don't really see anything that matches my symptoms. I have seen some other posts on this site that discuss the fluid reservoir connector (mine is a little off, but not leaking) and high pedal clutch engagement (not what's happening here).

I'm thinking either air in the slave cylinder line, or a bad TOB. I also saw another post on a re-route of the line from the clutch master to the clutch slave to keep air from getting trapped, but I don't remember if that was referencing an OE slave cylinder or and aftermarket cylinder. Seems odd to have a bad TOB at 32K miles, but things do wear out, sometimes early.

Thanks for the read.
