Love the pony, it's part of the classic Mustang look. Although some day I hope to turn that pony into a snake.

I have had a 2016 Ecoboost, convertible, ruby red, PP, with the black wheels, on order, since May 12th. I note that it has only two shiny bits, the two running ponies in the grill and on the back. That seems about right. When I got my 2011 Focus there were numerous discussions about removing the badges.

I think I will like the clean lines of this car. Now if I can just wait until October.

I wonder what the "GT" would look like in the corner, rather than in the center of the decklid panel? :ninja:

I am not sure if I would like the badges if it were the only chrome part on the car. I would never take them off, but maybe dip them to a better matching color. On the EU-spec with the chrome trims and silver wheels, it looks perfectly fine, IMHO.

Any chance one of the fine people.on this thread much more skilled at photoshop than myself could black out the front pony emblem and make the 5.0 screaming race red on a front quarter angle shot? Black car preferred. Or this pic.

There is a photoshop request thread for that ... It'll get seen faster there.

I like the pony in the grille, but I liked this better. Guard/"steampunk" - had it forever, just didn't get it attached until now because I could not get to the back of the grille.

I did not like the Pony. Grill delete solved this problem. I am going to convert to a mesh grill soon. just have to find mesh that I like and is a good quality.

I actually didn't get the 50th package because to much chrome. The chrome trim on the tail lights ruined it for me. It just reminds me of the cheap stick on chrome strips you can get from the auto parts store.

That being said I replaced the front pony with a flat black pony to make it blend in more with the grill. I replaced the tail panel with the ford racing blank panel because I really like the clean blacked out look to match my tail light tint. MY 5.0 badges are still chrome and will probably stay that way I think it goes great with the factory 20's. When I do get new wheels they will not be black because I feel like the style of the wheel just disappears unless you are close up on the car.
