Last week I changed my struts, shocks and springs. I went with Ford Racing Track shocks and struts and Steeda linear springs. We managed to get er done in three hours. It was necessary to lower the suspension in order to remove the rear springs and we probably could have jury rigged it but I purchased a stand at Harbor Freight for $89 and boys this thing is really built. I'm really glad I bought it. It's built like a tank. I highly recommend it if anybody is wanting one.It has a tripod base rather than a round plate. Super steady.

So.....uhh......we're just gonna' ignore the scissor-lift in your garage?

Seems to me that was the bigger help in getting the work done.

Well Mr. Snarky, the lift is supporting the car on the Steeda jacking rails. When the IRS is taken loose it hangs down thus allowing for coil spring removal. The stand supporting it eases removal and installation of all the hardware by allowing you to use the jackscrew for subframe bolt alignment. Could it be done by other means? Of course but we're old.
