Thursday night I Installed the Pmas Intake/Flex Tune, car seemed to run fine no hickups. Friday I had the Longtubes installed, car seemed to run fine but I really only drove it home and parked it. Saturday morning the check engine light appears.. codes p2004 and p2011... So I Re-Installed the intake and took a look under the car. Everything looks good. But still getting the same codes. Now, I did disconnect the sound tube and had it capped off. (Seems like everyone gets rid of the sound tube) You guys have any ideas of what may be my issue? The codes read IMRC Bank 1 and Bank 2 open. Hoping for an easy fix.

Someone with a Bama tune had same codes I'm 99% sure it's an issue with the imrc settings in the tune.

Or when the long tube headers were installed they damage the IMRC components on the back of the manifold by jacking the engine up into the firewall.

Makes sense, Installer did have to move the motor around to get the headers in.

Would i get these components from Ford or would a vendor here on the site have them?

Check it first for damage. It's on the rear passengers side of the intake mani.

You should be able to get the parts from the dealer but I would take it back to the shop that installed the headers and try to get them to fix it if they broke it.

There have been several of these threads in the past with these symptoms right after header install. You have to jack the motor up to remove the engine mount brackets to install the headers. If it is jacked up to far the IMRC's contact the firewall.

Subscirbed. Hope it's a simple fix for you. I'm gonna be doing same mods pretty soon.

If it is a broken part and it's going to be expensive, you might want to research upgrading your Intake Manifold to the gt350.

At the very least reflash the stock tune and see if you get the same codes. If not, it should just be a matter of reflashing the custom tune. it could have hiccuped during the flash.

Looks like it is the solinoied, I barely touched it and it fell off. You can actually see where it touched the firewall. Off to Ford I go in the AM.

damn that sucks. If you ask around, people that have the gt350 manifold will have extra solenoids lying around.
