To answer your question, use high quality synthetic oil changed every 8000km or so. The engines don't have that many issues as long as you take care of them.

I would begin to question why a vehicle like that is sitting in copart facility, unless all airbags deployed and there's other hidden damage we can't see from the pictures.

The reason I state the above is because normally a vehicle when damaged if the damages exceed 72-75% of its ACV, then Insurance Company considers it totaled and VIN is forever marked salvage.

I'm not seeing 72-75% of damage to "total" that Mustang. There must be other reasons as to why it ended up in a copart facility - unless it was theft/wrecked recovery, or it was repo'd in that condition and that is why it ended up in a salvage auction.

Plus I do not get why you're asking us in same day if it's a good deal, questioning the drivetrain, then saying you're going to buy it for your daughter - then immediately respond that you already bought it - all in same day and posts within a couple of hours of each?

In the first image of the car "repaired", it looks like whoever did the repair wrapped the entire car - because to me the paint looks flat. My bet is the damage to the front is most likely "wrapped" and nothing was painted - cost savings to salvage flipper... Also with that in mind, what other corners were cut in the repair process, that's the bigger question.
