Are you driving in any other mode than Normal?
With a manual transmission the driving modes have zero impact on the tune. The traction control that varies with the driving modes does, so to get the best times you want it off.

I get my best times with my Unleashed tune in track with advance track off. I have a manual PP car which requires a shift to third for 0-60, get low to mid 5's. I have raised the rev limiter to 7200 so I can get to 60 without a shift to third but I am so far past the power peak the 0-60 times are the same.

Unleashed tune, all stock otherwise, 0-60 in 5.6 on my first try, 5.4 on my 2nd try.

Called it a day after that.

It has more in it with better launch and shifting.

Aren't you the same dude who was talking how great Bama was in another thread a few days ago?

Now here you are talking how Unleashed doesn't feel any faster than stock, and a title that makes people think your engine seized up due to the tune.

No agenda here..

I'm thinking it's either related to the overboost condition ppl were having with the SCT based tunes or because Torries tune is more aggressive and therefore you're losing more traction during your launch. May just be a matter of changing your launch technique. I don't even bother to do 0-60s because it ends up just being a waste of tire tread and doesn't really tell much about overall performance

So all of the tunes on the market is only affecting D mode? damn it. Now I know why I could not break 6.3 because I always try it on Sport+ or Track.

From what I've read on the overboost problem, Torrie's tunes are the only SCT tunes that don't have that issue.

Could definitely be a traction issue.

How long was the Unleashed tune on the car? Was the car heat soaked when the Unleashed tune was tested, and therefor not performing to full capacity?

I have no idea how Bama handles high intake 2 temps, but if they disregard them and continue to run full timing advance in hot conditions it could explain a slow down with a different tune in the same hot conditions.

I talked to him and he flashed the Unleashed tune over the Bama tune without reflashing to stock first. I think we found the problem.
If he flashed Unleashed over Bama wouldn't the SCT Tuner save the Bama tune as the stock tune thus eliminating his stock tune off the handheld and defaulting Bama as his stock tune?
