I would have the dealer give the car a good going through. If you had mice nesting in your car it means it sat a long time. Mice like to eat wiring. Good luck.

Yeah, nesting mice are extremely destructive. Best to check the entire engine bay top to bottom, not just around the nest area.

Don't let this issue ruin the experience. It'll be made right (maybe on your own dime unfortunately) and then bask in the glory of 526hp unleashed and a redline of 8250! When u think back it'll be a distant memory.

I store my car in a friend's garage over winter, and I paranoid about mice... I put traps all over the place, I think I caught 100 by now. I cleaned the whole suburb.

I had one get into my 16 when I had it, I got everything out but the melted skull of the rat, I think that kept the rest of them out.
When I got my R I had to get something to keep them out, my solution... until I can get a garage going.
