StangMan,

May I ask why you upgraded to 3.55s, what's the major benefit over base?

Here's build

I went with 3.55s a little better acceleration and most people believe it is a good middle of the road ratio. I don't plan to do any extensive modding and figured I would get the gears to avoid going that route in the future and hearing about tuners not being able to change the speedo yet.

it's probably worth it to upgrade to 3.55s, but the 3.15s can do 12s on the 1/4 mile no problem.

A 12 sec 1/4 is a 12sec 1/4. My buddys eb with less than 2500$in mods eats stock gts at the track. And no, that extra cash dosent get him even a base gt, he got his base eb pp for 25,600. And bas gts were (and still are) at 32k at best.
So i think theres plenty of caffeine to be had from them, unless youre one of those v8 sound guys, in which case youre beyond help..
I bought my GT Premium new with everything but Adap cruise or 201a and I paid 34k and sticker was 42k.....don't pick the MSRP for one model and the rebate price for the other....

Based on my latest build excel sheet. If I end up getting it for 37,500 after rebates do you think its a good deal?

38,325 is the best i can do with truecar, which is 3k off MSRP. so that seems like a good deal to me.

Wow, internet peer pressure got to you? I was sure you'd stick to the EB. From everything you said in the original post the EB sounded like your path. In the end, you can't go wrong. All 3 engines have benefits that'll make you smile.

Agreed, They all have their upsides

I love the feel and experience of turbo cars, hell I enjoy a little turbo lag because it's like the calm before the storm and massive power gains from simple bolt ons.

The V6 was detuned from last year to make it less competitive with the Eco but I'm sure a tune and some breathing mods will wake that up on the cheap, Plus It won't be too long before someone starts offering SC kits for it. Its just in the ECO's shadow right now due to poor sales.

And If I had 45k burning a hole in my wallet I'd have a supercharged V8

I own a 14 GT and have a 16 Eco on order. I've kind of done the V8 thing and want to try something else. However if you've never had a V8 I highly recommend you get it while you can and while it's relatively inexpensive.

People need to start posting prices associated with these not-one-off builds. It makes sense of somebody already has EB and want to make headline with hp numbers, from financial and durability point view can't see how this can make any sense at all...
Exactly. That's all I'm asking.
