Piston Sleeves?

I am trying to figure out if I need to do piston sleeves on my 2018 S550 Supercharged Mustang? Sorry new to this forum, sorry if this has already been asked.

On the current motor build:

Manley Rods
Manley Pistons
Arp Head Studs
Cometic Head gaskets
Valve Springs
Block Supports
Drive Shaft
ID1050 Injectors
Rod Bearings
Main Bearings
Blower Cams
Fuel System on e85

Car made 960 rwhp on larger pulley before any of this work was done. I think I am going to be closer to the 1100-1200 rwhp when complete, but I have seen a lot of different opinions on the sleeves.

Any help would be appreciated!

Well you're going to get even more opinions here, your best bet would be to ask your builder.

Personally I'd be comfortable with stock sleeves under 1000.

Over that I would pay for sleeving.

100% sleeves for that power level. I’m not boosted yet for me it was a piece of mind thing for a relatively small added cost ( considering what you have spent on the car) you know you have a bullet proof set up.
There is lots of benefits of a sleeved motor and not many negatives.

I'm shooting for 1,200whp and for the love of everything, I wish I had spent the money and gotten a sleeved block...... The extra money at this point is completely worth it in MY opinion. That way, if you decide to go bigger later you don't have to worry..... I was thinking 1,200 would be plenty, and then my friend rolled up with 2,100 and of course I would now want more....

My take has been the sprayed in plasma cylinders are too thin to be worked. If the cylinder walls are good then you have the advantage of less weight.

I am not sure but do think some one posted about sleeves for the 2018 & newer blocks but cannot recall if such has been done. If the cylinder walls are damaged, then sleeves may be the only way to fix the block.

I am going by the notion you have a 2018 block.

Sleeve install itself is around 2200. If you have the ability to have the machine shop assemble the shortblock, and you do the rest some cash will be saved. I'd personally do sleeves over 1000hp.

Im in australia.
But I got my Darton sleeves from Brian crowder in the USA for $1100 usd.
And
Machining and fitment here in Oz was $1324 usd
I just got engine builder to machine and assembled short block and I put together the rest. ( my first coyote build). A lot easier than I expected.
Due to the fact I had one hole down , to get that machined out and replaced with factory sleeve was pretty much about 1/3rd of what it cost to just sleeve the whole engine. So I thought why not chuck a little more at it and have a much much better engine that should live pretty happy at my dream power levels of under 1000…
Over built ?? Yes , my father alway said “over built it and under stress it” Then it will last.

My total complete engine parts and machining list cost $10,000 usd.
