I really hate to be an asshole but if you don't have $1000.00 to spend on tires, can you really afford a ~$40,000.00 vehicle...?I know wrong forum, but I need a quick answer and maximum exposure. My car will be here any day and I need A/S tires to get me through the winter. I really can't afford $1000+ on tires, got any ideas how I can make this work? I asked dealer, they wont swap.
Because most people dont expect to change tires so soon on a brand new car.I really hate to be an asshole but if you don't have $1000.00 to spend on tires, can you really afford a ~$40,000.00 vehicle...?
Perhaps rethink the whole thing...
Stupid comment considering the fact that you can easily get a premium ecoboost performance package for $30,000I really hate to be an asshole but if you don't have $1000.00 to spend on tires, can you really afford a ~$40,000.00 vehicle...?

hmmm dealers sell tires too? Didn't know that. That would be a decent option.
That sounds like a good solution, could also try Craigslist or see if your local tire dealer has "used" tires, where someone tried them and did not like them for whatever reason.
Used tires? Definitely another option to look at. All I need would be a set of A/S to get me thru Maryland's tame winters.I just bought some winter tires to go onto the stock rims. They're used, but nearly 100% tread left on all of them. $600 for blizzaks. don't forget to check off sizes, as an example 245/40R19 is only 1-2% off in diameter, but opens up a whole new selection of tires compared to the 255/40R19's and usually fits the same rim.
But, since I knew it was a daily driver and came with summer tires, I budgeted for them ahead of time, but that doesn't keep me from looking for a deal. every penny counts.
buy a second set of wheels and save money. My car will be here any day and I need A/S tires to get me through the winter. I really can't afford $1000+ on tires, got any ideas how I can make this work? I asked dealer, they wont swap.
