Any advice on how to press the new pinion flange on? I am swapping from a manual flange to an automatic flange. I don't have the install tool recommended in the instructions - I see them online but they are like $150 and I am only gonna use it once.

I have always been able to tap the new pinion flange on far enough to reach the threads, allowing me to draw the flange the rest of the way with the pinion nut.
I use an old pinion nut to draw tight, then replace with New pinion nut with silicone sealer around bottom for final tightening.
You will need to hold pinion flange for final torqueing, with a pinion flange holder, I recommend one of these:
You can buy a Pinion flange holder at speedwaymotors.com for $21.99, or JEGS.com for $39.99
