I'm picking up the car in my sig from the dealer as soon as they open Friday morning. What are the first things do I need to do? I haven't kept up with the forum much in the last year.

Do I still need to pull the clutch pedal spring? I'll check the splitter install while I am at the dealer (assuming I can remember). What else?

Just enjoy it and don't worry about it , nothing to do , it's an awesome car even with the stock spring in place :) Congrats!

I'd say verify correct splitter installation. It's extremely common for them to be installed incorrectly. Other than that and a good once over to check for defects go out and enjoy it.

I'd also request that they not wash the car. It's better if you carefully wash it yourself. Being as you also have the soft, black vinyl stripes, they will scratch easily, and you will not be able to polish it out.

The clutch pedal may seem strange with the "over the top" feel at the point of clutch engagement. If that bothers you, then pull the assist spring and try that for a better linear feel, it takes all of about 10 seconds. If there is any free play at the top of the pedal travel that bothers you, then a Steeda spring would be the next best option.
I have been running without a clutch spring since Jan 2016 and I have no free play and it feels perfect. I originally removed the spring because my wife couldn't drive the car properly with the spring in place. It is that much different, but it is all personal preference.
Enjoy your new ride.

Add catch cans, add camber plates, take it to an alignment shop and dial in Ford Performance specs and then take it to a track!

I love the car "as is". Nothing else needed. I'm used to the clutch feel now and have no issues with the stock spring. The light spring feel is actually kind of nice in stop & go traffic.

Ditto. I did add the Steeda spring just to see what's up with that, but it's not a huge difference. LIttle bit better, but stock is also good.

Would recommend going over every inch at the dealer and annotating any damage that occurred in shipping. I had several chips, a puncture in passenger door panel, rubs and even a slight scratch in the windshield on the passenger side (the windshield i decided to live with). Also 1 of the screws on my brushguard underneath the splitter wasnt completely secure. Dealer worked with Ford to fix all of it.

Bend at the knees, keep your back straight, don't strain. Not a light car.

The Steeda clutch spring is great, but doesn't have anything to do with the dealership. You can just swap it out yourself later. Regardless of what others say, it's cheap enough that it's worth trying. Or at least just try removing the stock spring and try the clutch pedal with no spring in - that will feel very similar to having the Steeda spring and you can decide from there which you prefer.

Had stock spring for a week. Made switch to Steeda Spring with perch and I'm glad I did. Much more linear feel. Easy fix if you don't like stock spring.
