So i swung by the JLT shop this morning and picked up my intake and even got hooked up with a JLT oil seperator (thanks again vinny). Let me start off with the intake.

Intake: awesome qaulity and well worth the wait for it. Installation was a breeze except for the boot to the throttle body (heat gun fixed that). Stands out nicely under the hood.

Performance: pretty noticeable gain in response and I feel like it has really tied all of the other mods together perfectly. The sound is not crazy loud but definitely has that growl when you get in it.

JLT Experience: amazing is all I can say I walked and vinny and the staff had me hooked up in no time. The shop .... Yeah I'd get in trouble in that place awesome atmosphere. Even left with the oil seperator which I've always wanted just never pulled the trigger.

All in all I'm overly happy with it and will definitely recommend JLT to anyone. Great job guys I'll definitely be coming back. As for everyone else I'll get a video up soon kinda hard to with it snowing.

looking forward to the video. I still haven't decided between JLT or Roush.

Is there even going to be a statistically significant difference between Roush and JLT intakes (power-wise)?

Both claim the same power gains without a tune, but honestly power gains is not something you should be concerned about WITHOUT a tune. Just figure out which one looks cooler.

On the other hand, I do notice that a lot of people that get tunes (on other engines as well) get them paired with JLT intakes, so that might be something worth considering if you are planning on tuning later down the road.

Installed JLT CAI today as well. Very easy installation and sounds awesome!! That mini spool makes me giggle every time I shift. It does feels like car gained some low end power but 1/4 mile drag strip times will tell.

Make sure you tell torrie and have him send you a new tune to get the most from it

I tried to record the video, but iPhone quality suck. Overall, you can only hear little pssk sound before 3k rpm and right past that rpm car growls (nice growl). When you cruising, you cant even hear it. I might be crazy:crazy:, but feel like it helped with a drone with my Gibson Catback. It seems like car now has less drone (almost none) at 2250 rpm on 6th gear doing 80mph.

Torrie said I don't need a revised tune....
