I was thrilled to rinse it of after it hung out in the shop for weeks and became filthy. Wouldnt let me attach more pics so just the 1 it is.

I got my front runner skinnies in so now the car is 100% track ready. But I put it on the dyno last night and my new tune is down about 50hp so all track plans are called off until the car is back up to at least 700rwhp. Hopefully that gets resolved soon. It's looking like I might have to shift gears once again back into the direction of custom tuning. We will see if anything comes up in the next few days but I am not sure where it could possibly go from here other than that.

On a positive note the new fuel system is holding pressure in the rails all the way to redline... So that part of the car is ready to go further.

Attached dyno of my old graph versus the latest. I did pick up a little low end but I think I'd prefer to go back to the much better top end!
Did you dyno at Dean's? If so, how do you get ahold of that guy to schedule some dyno time? Thanks!

Yes I did! I text his cell or just walk in, a side-effect of knowing him for over 10 years and being a block away at work I suppose. The slower season in this industry is coming up and it might be a good time to try and get in there.

From what I've learned the switch "on" will reduce timing. It was designed incase of not having good gas available or if wanting to run "safe" and it cuts timing so the timing will be at a lower starting point.

If your switch is on it would explain the loss in power.
Ill check in about a hour

A hour ago at work my iPad screen stopped working. I go home and get in my car and my ngauge is toast (says it cannot connect to vehicle). I plug in my laptop to check the octane switch and the battery is fried and it won't turn on. Had enough with the gizmos for one day.

Plugged into the inverter to use it.

Octane switch is off.

Interesting to note that the whipple pcm tool is unable to clear DTC codes.

The octane adjust doesn't appear to work anyway it just error messages if I click it and now it's stuck with the green light on no matter what the switch is stuck to and the text doesn't really clarify if it worked lol

Correction, with the engine not running, both the octane adjust and dtc clearing appear to work.

Drove the car a hour tonight in 50 degree air, pulls much harder than last night. I'll drive it some tomorrow and check on it. This car never previously seemed to care much about cold air and I usually thought it felt faster on really hot days as backwards as that sounds.

I found a spot in the tune that is rough. If you hold the engine load right at where the supercharger bypass valve shuts it stutters a bunch until I let off or go deeper into the throttle.

Maybe the tires aren't hooking as well on cold days and vise versa
Well that's a given but I can still tell relatively how powerful the car is despite traction.

Ive held back on posting it all so that I can compile it into a component list and final price. I also need to get in touch with an admin on here to find out about forum sponsor rates. I think people would buy what I made over anything else given the option. So I might sell them direct otherwise I will setup with a vendor to handle that for me, but that brings cost up as there has to be a margin for them.
