January, just 5 more months
They wont be releasing any information on the '17 till at least March unless you know something else. If you are talking 2017 the year, well obviously that's 5 months away lol.

We didn't get any information the '16s until well into March/April of '15.

Spy shots will probably be circulating before you know it.

I want to believe this, that the head guy at Ford Performance is actually sitting there calling random folks

Cool story if so it really is.

But I just can't resist.

Actually 2017 is 17 months away and it depends on what information you are looking for. There will be news in January dealing with 2017 Mustangs, not details like power plants, options and trivial stuff, that doesn't get finalized until spring. Also, things change due to economy, failed tests etc... but something cool should be at the North American International Show in January. If you are wanting to know what's in the order guide, yeah you have a wait, almost a year until the final version.

Can you give us a clue? Does the news in January have anything to do with something that might rhyme with Smack Bun?

Nope, no clues, got in trouble before for posting proprietary info. There is another special car in my future and don't want to hose it up (beyond 17). I was merely commenting on when some official news about 2017 might show up.

Don't want hijack the thread, but what seems to be the major problem with the cooling seats. I have had mine Since NoV 2014 and just used the cooled seat, for the third or fourth time, this week (92 outside) It is freezing! I would like the back to cool just as it did on my SHO...
That's the problem. The back is supposed to cool and doesn't. In fact, the back actually heats up for some of us after the cooling system has been on a while.
