there is a pp thread like two below already and this is 400th time this has been asked.
in a dd environment you'll hardly notice any difference between 3.55 and 3.73 if you are shifting correctly to get any mpg what so ever. always shifting at low rpms no matter what gearing you got unless you want 12mpg. you get the better radiator too.
in regards to the ride, it's a tad stiffer because it has different springs but we all end up lowering the car anyways. don't let the girly men around here tell you other wise about pp being harsh, it most certainly is no where harsh. NO WHERE.
plus the cool gauges you get for the looks.
I wouldn't own the car without pp but that's me. pp is a good deal.
downside is, auto doesn't get pp... which is still silly...but i guess because pp is meant for road course and that's why. it's not really a big difference overall on the feel but it's a cheap package with a lot of additions.
