Hi, does anyone know the part numbers for the Perfomance Pack Rear Sway Bar? Also what others parts would be required to replace the standard bar with the PP bar on my 15 GT?

You'd need to buy the Ford Racing Street Package, which has everything.

Great thanks. Do you know dimensionally how much larger or stronger these are over the stock GT bars? I am planning to add the PP rear sway bar, strut tower brace and cowl C brace. Hopefully that will add stability. Anything else recommended ?

Well, they will definitely be better than the standard bars thats for sure. If you intend to do any serious driving your may want to consider going with Steeda or BMR over PP bars but for $110 for both its hard to beat that price.

Steeda & BMR make other braces that will also improve things but its all what you intend to do with your car. I definitely recommend the upper braces you mentioned.

What I've heard is the front sway bar is the same on the GT and the GT with PP. so I think I just need the rear. Plus it looks pretty easy to change to compared to the front. As far as driving, I am a daily driver that wants less roll and sway when driving "spirited". Nothing too harsh or crazy.

Thanks I will when I get to a computer. I'm at ATL airport. Do you know the size difference (diameter) of the PP bars vs non PP bars?

appears there are two part numbers for each of the sway bars, non PP vs PP versions?

Yes, when you look online at TascaParts or other ford parts site they specifically say "performance package" and "without performance package". The PDF kinda jumbled up what it says online.

The difference in the two front bars are the mounts (saddles).

The PP has "better" mounts that provide less deflection, therefore they provide more actual wheel rate.

I would strongly recommend the Steeda G-Trac brace. I installed it on my non-PP GT and it made a world of difference in handling. That said, I also have the PP strut brace which I got from a buddy who put a Whipple on his PP so it didn't fit anymore. What I've also discovered is that my non-PP GT apparently has the PP k-brace up top (I assume you meant K-brace, not C-brace). From what I understand, this is due to having the 20" Foundry wheel option on my car.

Lastly, I also have the Steeda IRS braces in the rear. I didn't not notice much from them in the way of handling but they did help mitigate some of the wheel hop I was getting and keep the rear end more firmly planted.

I may do springs in the near future with a very slight drop. At that point, I might consider replacing the sway bars as well. Personally, I will probably go with a better aftermarket solution. However, if you're set on the stock PP parts, I would check the classifieds. I'd bet there are tons of them for sale.

You might want to look at the Strano rear bar - slightly stiffer than the PP rear bar - but not as stiff as the Steeda or BMR bars. It's good if you're just replacing the rear.

it's also adjustable, so you can stiffen it up a bit more, then do the free front sway mod, and adjust as you like.

I have the Stano, and when I first put it on I had it set at the mid point, but it was too much and the rear end went squirrely on my easily. I set it back to the softest position and the car is very well balanced.

I'm running F-Street for autocross, so I can only mod or change one sway and stay in the class.

It's a bit more $$ than the PP bar, but you get the adjustability and a stiffer bar.

I called Tasca and there is a PP front stabilizer bar. Part #: FR3Z-5482-B. The non PP version is Part #: FR3Z-5482-A. The mounting bushings however are the same part number implying the diameter of the 2 is the same.

Does anyone know the difference in the two? Is the PP made from a stiffer material? Or is it solid vs hollow? The sales material says when you order a GT with PP you get a bigger rear stabilizer bar. It says nothing about the front however.

I'm sure the aftermarket Steedas etc are much better, but I'm on a budget and would like to see if the stock PP ones make a noticeable difference, especially in the front since it looks a bit more involved to change

Also, is there any way to tell from my VIN what I actually have installed on my GT?

I've done these and it is a definite improvement in handling and response. The strut tower & cowl brace made the biggest difference. The PP rear dampers made a bigger difference to the way the car drove compared to the rear bar. With the PP rear bar and base springs, the handling balance is actually quite good, only very mild understeer at the limit, which is easily fixed with the throttle. It's soft and the tires lack grip, but at least it doesn't plow.
