So I live close to a Steeda shop and dealer. I have a MBRP Race exhaust which was my first mod and I’m looking to do something a bit more w/o breaking the bank.
I visited the Steeda shop and they offered their performance pack which is a CAI and Tune w/controller. They said they can tune it for E85 & 93.
I’m not sure Steeda is the brand I want to go with that’s the first question and the 2nd thing is price I think it was just under 1k for everything installed.
Just looking for some advice and different routes to take.

E85 is the best bang for your buck by far. But save the $ and keep the stock cai. 18+ flows efficiently, keeps iats down and provides smooth maf. Keeping stock cai you can go with a flex tune so can run e85 or 93 on the same tune.

AED, Lund, PBD all provide good tuning options as well. There are alot of great options for this platform.

We guarantee our work & we are right around the corner - peace of mind :)

We also have some nice new additions to Pompano if you saw them - I guess I would ask, what's holding you back?

Haha - Unfortunately, no - I saw you had FL listed as your location. I am in lonely Michigan working remotely with both Steeda & Steeda Performance Vehicles :muscle:

Let me know if I can help with your decision in any way - I have the CAI & Tune on my 2019 Mustang & it was night & day difference - I am confident, you won't be disappointed with any route you go through Steeda - as mentioned, we are there to help in any instance :)

You did the Steeda option? you can run e85 or 93 right? And it’s a CAI box?
Is the CAI box necessary?

I was also considered the Ford Performance option.

I have the open-element CAI with the 93 Performance Tune - we don't build our Performance Vehicles without the CAI ... a tune & CAI is like Peanut Butter & Jelly - its a great combo!

I have the Steeda White Carbon Edition from our Performance Vehicle Team. Before the CAI/Tune - the car was moderately quick. Now, it is a night & day difference.

Do you have a link to what set up you run? (Website)

Regardless of which vendor you go with, labor for loading a tune yourself... 0! Just purchase the handheld device and the tune for flex / e85r or 93.

Back in 2004 Sam threw a 2.8 upper pulley and tune on my 03 Cobra and had it dyno tuned there in Pompano. 460/472 through the stock cats! I hurt a lot of feelings in S Florida with that setup. Yes, Steeda can tune.

I’m on the fence about going tuned and CAI also. I’ve got my eye on the steeda proflow closed air box. Only reason I want to go closed air box is to keep IAT’s down. I’m doing a lot of research before I make a decision. I’ve heard so many mixed opinions on who get tuned by being either Lund or steeda.
I want to know what your professional opinion is on this intake and the steeda 93 octane tune and the drivability in normal traffic and spirited driving With my 2017 GT

Keep the stock CAI, just get a drop in filter like afe or aem and flash the tune yourself.

Is it easy to flash the tune?
If needed to go back to stock is that an option as well?
