This post is funny to me. But, I am not too good to ask anyone for advice.
I picked up a new GTPP and will be taking it to the track tonight, 100% STOCK.
I am no stranger to making a car work at the drag strip, but I am not experienced with the newer cars and their nannies (electronics, safeguards etc) - with the MT82 / Manual trans applications.
So my question is, how are you guys running your cars in stock form?
I know these cars have ABS, Advancetrac and Clutch Protection features that can make them a nightmare - especially with the insane wheel hop.
I know all the other tricks.....but I am a "turn everything off and let me do the work" kinda guy - but does clutch protection kick in?
LMK your tips guys/gals! Thanks a ton!
