Perfect offset to sit flush.

This is for my brothers mustang.

He already picked out wheels
20x9" Front 275/35
20x10.5" Rear 305/35

The wheels are being custom drilled and can be set to any offset he wants.

What is the proper offset to sit almost flush with the fenders?
I think +35 for the fronts will be fine but really not sure on the rears.

Good morning!

We have been able to utilize a 44mm offset for the 20x10.5 size while using with the Toyo R888 tire in the 315/30/20 size, which does also provide a nice bulge.

As for the front we have been able to dial it in to a 22mm offset with a 20x9 size while utilizing a Toyo R888 285/35/20 tire size. The vehicle was lowered on Eibach Pro Kit suspension as well. Vehicle is a daily driver without any issues even on the Toyo R888 tires.

Considering the tire size you are using, you will be able to cut the wheels to the 22mm front and 44mm to achieve the flush look you are looking for without the possibility of any rubbing.
