Does anyone know if there is a source to find out the percentages of each car made with each of the various stock colors? I'd be curious to know which colors were most popular and what the numbers are.

Magnetic is #1. I can tell you that without even looking at sources.

Interesting question. If there's no data available (which I doubt) maybe make a poll for for the 6g members to vote which color they have. Be somewhat an accurate picture?

Didn't someone post a chart up of this exact question a few weeks ago? Or at least a production count of each color which you can then figure out the percentage on your own.

I like magnetic, but I swear you can't swing a dead cat without hitting one. Lots of black also. There are two reds (three if you count Royal Crimson, which I don't) so that's not really fair.

For 2015, IIRC, top three colors were Shadow Black (#1), Magnetic (#2), and Ruby Red (#3). Kind of suprised that an extra cost color made the top three :headbonk: My first car was a dealer order in Ruby Red.

I parked two Royal Crimson GT's at the All Ford Show this weekend. One was a GTPP level 1 and the other was a GTPP level 2. They showed up at about the same time-there was a shadow black GT between them ;)

There's this old chart from 2015, for the US it is Black, Magnetic, then Ruby.

Ultimately Ford sells all the cars they build, and the vast majority are dealer ordered, so is this a chart of what people want or what dealers order? It would be somewhat interesting to see the differences between dealer ordered and customer ordered.

There sure seem to be a lot of Lightning Blue's on this forum. But maybe I'm just looking for them because that's what I have.

I'll be honest, never heard of the phrase can't swing a dead cat. Now that I've heard it, I'll probably start to use it :D.

Also, your phrase and your forum name here... Hmm... ;)

Most popular color? Something on the grayscale
Most rare color? Think I would have to go with Guard. Used to own a Guard mustang. You didn't see them anywhere.

Based on C&Cs I go to, Lightning Blue is far from the top in terms of popularity, definitely seems to be more Black, White, and Ruby. I see more Grabber than Lightning around me too.

As for the chart, no idea on if that is customer or dealer numbers. I'd guess it doesn't matter too much either way because that's what is available and what would end up being sold.

I have the only Grabber Blue S550 that I’ve seen in my area.
