Well my story is i have tuned Right now two cars with Palm beach Dyno and problems on both cars start to appear in bad way

First Tune is for my 2012 S197 Mustang 5.0 it’s have basic bolt ons with VMP BAP and LU47 to run E85 with it

first i ask for Rob to tune my car but Trevor shows up and told me Rob only tune Boosted cars

i let Trevor tune my car and My worst nightmares start from there , the the Trans shifts and down shifts Really hard and i heard noises coming from the transmission, i have gone back and forth with him to fix this issue but he always says the shift points are stock

then Rob shows up and handle the tuning process, second problem shows up the AFR reads high Rich and the car doing funky backfires when i let off from the gas

i was thinking my transmission and my Injectors have a problems

so i load the stock tune and all this problems disappear

I really don’t know if someone is better than them to tune by using SCT

———————————————

Second car is 2016 S550 Mustang 5.0 with same mods

the first two days the car was acting good even Rob says the car is running Great

then this codes shows up and never goes even when i clear them

P0300 , P0316 , P0457

I really don’t know what I should do .

I think AED has the best results with the SCT platform.
Give him a try or switch to HPTuners

I had issues with an X4 it would always make the trans shift like a hammer. When I went to an HPTuners device the trans acted like it should.

I may be wrong but I think there is something that causes the SCT software to not play nice with some Ford strategy's.

I don’t think so Shaun was tuned the car via X4 and The Trans didn’t Reacted like this ever , if the Ngauge is still on the market I’ll definitely switch to HP Tuner i need a device with multiple tunes and easy to do a datalogs with it

Be a man, admit whatever you disagreed about was your fault and get him back. Look, you messed up and now you're paying the consequences. If you're paying someone for their expertise, then you might bloody well listen to them.

I have no idea what happened, but your story is enough to figure out the high points.

Stupid people making the judgment on the half of the story , i admit my mistake with Shaun and I already give him an apology but he refused to continue tune my car , that’s up to him i can force someone to do something specially when i pay to them to do it for me .

I've had asshole customers, too. Sometimes they're so bad you don't care how much money they have in their hand. They're not worth the aggravation and so you tell them to go to hell.

Everything you've written shows that you're exactly this type of asshole.

I agree, but the last line, as I don't know the o/p and the written word can be taken in the wrong context, but you might be right, I'm just not going to go there.
But yes, some customers you are better off steering clear of.
Sometimes you have to fire a customer.

I was running an e85 tune from them for a little while. Power was there but the daily drivability was gone.

Shift points were unpredictable; using rev match the revs would just bounce up and down and I had to kinda guess when to let out the clutch. Slow cruising in a parking lot would be a battle with the surge and jerks.

Maybe this is normal for an aggressive tune; IDK. Every email with questions went pretty much unanswered. All I could get was a general response to only one of the questions, of many asked.

Ultimately my nGuage failed completely. The car wouldn't relearn the fuel composition anymore and was stuck thinking it was still full of e85 despite running a couple tanks of 93. I sent them an email about that and was dismissed again. Called them out on the responses or lack there of. Rob responded "not that big of a deal buddy, I apologize."

I hate being called "buddy" my own problem but I hate it. It comes across condescending when I'm asking for help and info.

Only option offered was to buy a RTD, pay a diagnostic fee.

I ended up paying a Ford dealership to reset the PCM to stock. Then threw on the "power pack" from Ford.

GL for everyone else. I know they're a good shop. I'm feeling jaded with them right now.

Agreed Shaun's service and the performance on the platform was always great. OP sorry for your experience with him. Outside of Pbd not sure who will still do SCT. Many have turned to RTD.

Be a “ Tuner “ doesn’t mean always you will be waiting all of your Customers to be happy with your Service.

Some Tuners see themselves as a “God” and no one has Right to compline about their Service and that’s why

Humans does mistakes it’s okay as a Tuner if you’re missing some Info about tuning.

My problem with RTD is you have always to have Laptop to switch between tunes and to datalog your car

but it’s a great product.
