Paxton Kit sounds like its chirping

Just like the title says. My Paxton 2200SL kit seems to have a Chirp Chirp when the car is started the first time after sitting for a few days. I was wondering it anyone else has experienced this noise? I have about 3000 miles on the kit and I hear what sounds like a pulley chirping in the area of the head unit and pulley system. The noise slowly gets quieter but is still there after a few mins. Then I drive the car and it is gone. I drove it to work and after sitting all day I start the car again and the noise isn't there then either. Let it sit a couple days, start it up and the noise is there. Does that sound pretty typical? Or do I have a pulley bearing failing? I was just wondering what others have experienced with this and Vortech kits.

Thanks for the feedback, the kit has performed pretty much flawlessly since I installed it. I am on a quest for a 9.99. I see you are close. My next upgrade will probably be the Circle D converter. Then some E85 probably. I guess the chirping from pulleys isnt much to worry about.

If you go by my kit its nothing to worry about. It was installed 15 months ago. Has chirped since day one. I have the same 9 second goal. Should finally get there in the next week or two.

Mine chirps after it sits for a couple of days. Guess it’s normal. I was worried as well.

Zero noise from mine, even after sitting for 2-3 weeks.

I’d pull the belt off and check the pulleys for alignment.
