  1. Gauges set up!

It seems accurate for me. I have a Paxton with the 3.6 pulley. Shows about 11-12 psi at full rpm. You have to get the correct ELM 327 adapter, it has to have the little switch on it. Here is t he one I know works. Its only like $20...
  2. Gauges set up!

I also enabled the factory Vac/Boost Gauge from the Ecoboost car through the use of the Forscan tool. I leave mine set there most of the time. The boost I see lines up with what I should be seeing with my pulley setup. I like that it keeps the dash area mostly stock looking. It only takes...
  3. Brake Booster Stopped working after Paxton install

So I assume your brakes are hard and difficult to press? My issue was that I didn't have the vacuum plumbed correctly. The best advice I can give is to get rid of that 4 port aspirator thing. It has a bunch of check valves that are sometimes hard to figure out which way to connect. You can...
  4. Paxton Kit sounds like its chirping

Thanks for the feedback, the kit has performed pretty much flawlessly since I installed it. I am on a quest for a 9.99. I see you are close. My next upgrade will probably be the Circle D converter. Then some E85 probably. I guess the chirping from pulleys isnt much to worry about.
  5. Paxton Kit sounds like its chirping

Just like the title says. My Paxton 2200SL kit seems to have a Chirp Chirp when the car is started the first time after sitting for a few days. I was wondering it anyone else has experienced this noise? I have about 3000 miles on the kit and I hear what sounds like a pulley chirping in the...
  6. 1/4 Mile Fast List 2.0

  7. Brake Booster Stopped working after Paxton install

You can put a check valve pointing to the brake booster but it’s really not necessary in my opinion. The brake booster has a check valve mounted on it that prevents positive air flow only vacuum.
  8. Brake Booster Stopped working after Paxton install

Here is what I wound up with. I threw the aspirator away because it has check valves in certain situations that might not make things work right. I just put the Evap where they show the Evap going on the Lund install. Capped the Vac2 that runs to the back. Then I used a brass 3 way to run Vac1...
  9. Brake Booster Stopped working after Paxton install

Thanks for the input fellas. i have the CAI port capped off now. I have the 16 EVAP solenoid plumbed in there with a hose. Yeah its not the prettiest but I have it hidden down under everything. I will probably just clean it up a little more just for looks and drive the shit out of it. I...
  10. Brake Booster Stopped working after Paxton install

FMC_SMT, So I got the Brake Booster working this morning. Apparently the vacuum routing was incorrect. What I did was removed and capped the line I had Teed off to the Cold Air intake. The vacuum system was seeing that as a massive leak. So right now I have just one Tee fitting. Vacuum off...
  11. Brake Booster Stopped working after Paxton install

Thanks, I have had the aspirator removed for like 6 months with the 18 mani installed. I did a bunch of running and a little revving in the garage before I drove the car up the road. The BOV worked and opened when I stepped on the gas and let off back to idle. The vacuum in the car went up...
  12. Brake Booster Stopped working after Paxton install

I am getting all vacuum from I think its vacuum #1 on the 18 Mani. I am pointing to it in these pics. That comes out splits right there to the brake booster line. Then it goes down and splits again to the CAI line and the other goes to the Blow Off Valve. My gauge in the car reads about 25-26...
  13. Brake Booster Stopped working after Paxton install

Thanks for the reply, I had vacuum to the booster. I even removed the line into the check valve on the booster and the canister has vacuum after every engine start. You can hear it bleed off when you crack the seal around the check valve. Since that check valve is there. Why did the booster...
  14. Brake Booster Stopped working after Paxton install

Brake booster stopped working. So I installed a Paxton kit on a car with a locked out 18 manifold. I had previously removed the 4 way Aspirator from the vacuum system and just replaced with Tee fittings. I noticed after installing the Paxton kit that the vacuum seemed quite high 25+ in. I drove...
  15. Power point is turning off immediately

Learned something from this, The car is smart enough to know that the battery is going bad. I had the battery tested and it came back as bad. Time to start a search for a new battery.
  16. Power point is turning off immediately

Like the title says, I am trying to figure out why my console power point turns off immediately when I turn off the ignition and open the door. It did not used to do that. Could I be having a battery issue? Heres what I have done. 1. Used Forscan and adjusted the timeout to a value higher...
  17. Diode dynamic demon eye install

I did the Demon Eye install with new switchback DRLs. Taking the bumper off isn't as daunting of a task as it might seem. Just jack the car, take the wheels off and put down a blanket and have some help because its just a little cumbersome to handle alone. The new no bake demon eye should be a...
  18. Track update #2: 2018 3.0 Whipple, 3.875 pulley on E85 this time

Just curious about other upgrades done to the car. Do you have stock axles still on the car. I see it pulling the nose pretty good on the launch. Great looking passes!!
  19. DIY 18' manifold swap into 15-17'

Nice Write up. Planning to do this soon.
