Pretty straight forward install... Ran into a few snags along the way. First the kit was missing 2 hose barb connectors, came with small hose clamps that wouldn't fit around the couplers on the intercooler pipes. Had to run to Home Depot to buy those. Also my car is equipped with the accident avoidance and adaptive cruise control system. That bracket for the sensor had to be removed due to the intercooler placement. Unless I modify the bracket, I cannot install it again. Oh well... I have started my datalogs for Lund and the car started up perfectly the first time! Saved a bunch installing the kit on my own too!

For sure. I'll get some video footage. I'm going to powder coat the pipes later down the road and change to T-clamps instead of the included hose clamps.

Looks great! How is the clearance under the hood? Once you get the chance to throw some boost to it, you will be hooked.

I think the hood liner is touching the head unit a little. But it's not too bad. I sill need to install the bumper and the piece that goes on top of the radiator.

Good work mate.

I'll be slapping a Paxton on my GT as well. Did you do OPG and Timing Gear?

Didn't install at this point. I do plan on it down the road. Right now I'm keeping the boost pretty conservative. I don't rag the hell out of the car. It's my daily driver and the car will see the track maybe a few times a year. As long as I keep the rpm's below 7400 I should be good.

Looks great! I have a Vortech on my car. my head unit hits the hood liner. The only suggestion Vortech has is to "remove the hood liner" which I do not want to do. the top of my unit is black and is becoming shiny(worn) because of it and my hood liner is dented in. If I were you id consider taking out your hood liner or look for other methods until Vortech comes up with a solution to the problem

Mine is the satin color so I don't think I'll see any issue with color fading. But I will look into modifying the hood liner.

Over time it will polish the top of your blower. Lol. I am currently not running my hood insulator but plan on trimming out the area just above the head unit.

How often you guys wash your cars or drive in the rain? Here's why I ask that question. I pulled my hood insulation off for the visual of the mustang logo under the hood. I also am running the Airaid enclosed CAI. The aluminum top piece of the Airaid has extensive corrosion marks from water. I switched to the Roush heat extractors and it helped some, but not totally. That filter on the Paxton looks like a big bullseye!!

I have the collision warning system too. Had to modify the bracket, but it collision control and cruise control doesn't work anymore. I hope there's a fix.
