My Beefcake special Paxton is finally getting delivered tomorrow, and I plan to start the install Friday. I read papabearob's thread with a better order of how to do the install, and some various other threads.

Beefcake special paxton - ID1000's, VMP plug and play BAP, 3.6 pulley for later on

*I have T-bolt set already
*I am installing breathers
*I will loctite the pulley bolts on the bracket

I also have the boss intake manifold already installed. Does anybody have a pic/diagram of the hose routing for Boss with paxton? Since I'm installing the breathers as well, do I just plug the intake tube and cap the port on the intake manifold or still run the hose to the T, and then to the manifold?

Any other little tips/tricks? I've read the instructions about 5x and it seems pretty straight forward.

Thanks!

I want to see if the paxton kit throttle body coupler will even work with a boss intake. I dont think it will.

If you are talking about the adapter that goes on the throttle body, that works per paxton. If you're talking about the inlet tube to the TB, I don't see why it wouldn't work.

I said the coupler, It is preformed and the angle of the throttle body on a boss is at a much different angle then a stock intake manifold. Im curious to see.

Looks like a silicone coupler was used here:

I wonder if I can get a coupler like that and just trim the inlet tube? I haven't seen many paxton cars with the boss mani, except 11-14. Doesn't seem like any of those guys changed the inlet tube/coupler.

I definitely don't want to get that far into the install and not be able to finish it, and then wait to have a part shipped.

The coupler paxton supplies from the MAF housing to the throttle body is one preformed piece. You cant just buy a straight coupler like they did. If the coupler paxton supplies doesnt work. You will have to get custom with couplers and pipe.

I understand that it's preformed and solid. I'm just wondering if I can trim some of it off to get it to fit closer and use a silicone adapter to finish it off. I'll have to set that piece in there and see how it lines up.

It is not solid.
