Go JMS vs the VMP BAP
which one? there are so many on the site and im kinda lost.

and is it better? whats ur reason for going with the JMS?

My suggestion is, tell Terry (BeefCake) what your total budget (including shipping) is and your HP Power desire and have him pick the items. He is very knowledgeable. For example, the BAP brand & model, 8-rib package and other items. This way he knows all the the items, and what the total shipping cost will be.

does not, it's a factory balancer that has been grooved with 2 extra ribs

going with the 8rib setup because everywhere people are recommending 8rib so i don't have to deal with belt slipping. any additions?

if your wanting to do 8 rib, i would recommend the comp kit , gets an 8 rib upgrade and the jt head unit

For your 8-rib package, I suggest that ALL the components are ATI brand, including the balancer. Yes, it will be more expensive, but worth it.

Secondly, you should also opt for Lund remote tuning, where they have done a great job on CF S/C.

I had issues with the VMP not fueling properly. I was going to sell it but it is a paperweight at this point unless they replace it

update:

I ended up ordering a Paxton 2200SL tuner package, ID1000 and the VMP booster pump. hopefully those parts with my ARH 1 7/8 headers and a custom built x-pipe and catback can get me close to my goal of 650hp at the wheel.

As Mustang-guy said. Keep the motor intact. The cam and heads are good. Even the intake manifold and TB doing well for under 800HP.

You're going to invest some money on better suspension system to put the power down to the ground.
I had Paxton Novi 2200. I highly suggest to go with Dedicated 8-rib system. It's the best money spent not t deal with belt slipping anymore.
? What pulley are you running? No slip here on 6 rib 3.6

Just got my wife's ride back from finish line performance tonite. Beefcake special with same equipment, SP off-road headers & circle d 3c converter. It put down 653rwhp/508tq On a known stingy dyno. You can reach your goal for sure. 11.6lb boost btw.

if i get anywhere in the 650 range ill be more than happy, but i keep getting mixed reviews, so for now im just waiting for the Paxton to arrive.

still waiting for my kit to arrive.

you cant go wrong with either, i test drove a VMP, Kenne, Whipple, Roush, and Paxton. love the fact that Paxton (centri) drives like stock until you hit 3k rpm, then it takes off!

can't wait till my kit arrives.
