I noticed that the bumper beneath the passenger light is protruding more than usual. I attempted to gently push it back into place, but without success. I'm uncertain how this occurred. Are there any body shop experts here who can advise whether I need to remove the bumper for repair, or if there's a simpler solution to realign it? Check out the pics on the passenger-side bumper headlight compared to the driver-side bumper headlight.

It's from factory, I have few mm gap there too. I just ignore it, will have the headlight possibly moved a bit later at some occasion, the bolts should allow for some leeway.
I’ve got the exact same issue - except it’s the driver’s side for me as my car is RHD :)
I’m also ignoring it until I need the front bumper removed at some point then I’ll get it looked at.

Glad it’s not just me but sorry other folks have this problem too!

Do not worry. I had to have the front bumper replaced in an authorized shop (in 2022) and straight from there got the left headlight unaligned with the bottom edge of the bumper with a visible gap. When I was pointing it out to the technician (who did not dispute the observation!) I was told the alignment was according to Ford spec (i.e. it was normal).
