Haha. I absolutely loved reading this. Gotta love downshifting and speeding up next to a minivan driver who's holding up traffic and sitting 2" away from the steering wheel. Is there a steering wheel kit that gives massages or something that causes these women to drive with their chin on the top of the steering wheel?Mini van drivers are some of the worst drivers, they are usually dented and scratched to oblivion. They can't seem to stay in one lane, never signal when turning, slow down to well below the limit on main roads, are usually oblivious to anyone else on the road and will always make a right on red into oncoming traffic that is already in the intersection and then slam on their brakes, wtf, and, my all time favorite make either a right hand turn from the left lane crossing over three lanes of traffic to do so with a phone in their ear or a left turn from the right lane also across three lanes of traffic. Total menaces on the road always with a damn phone to their ear.
Don't even get me started on women driving huge Suburbans, Escalades, Hummers, or big ass Ram with an extended cab trying to maneuver into or out of a parking spot that's too small and only for economy cars with a toe hitch on the back using one hand because their other hand is holding a goddamn cellphone to their ear. Or my favorite ass hat that drives an extended cab that can't park straight and the back end is totally encroaching the rear end of the poor car immediately next to them so that the rear of their truck is completely blocking the person next to them from backing out of the spot making that person have to wait for them to return to said truck to pull out so they can finally pull out.

Dude, I couldn't help but to go out and find this video that I ran across to add to your post:

I am REALLY particular about where I park. This Sunday I went to a car show in a very nice area. I was forced to park on the grass between 2 cars. I had about 5 feet on each side, they could have swung the doors all the way open and not touched my car. I go to my car and low and behold, a ding with the paint taken down to the metal on my driver side. Looked to me like someone threw something at the car. I am beyond pissed, every nice car I've owned has been a target by some jealous asshole. I have had some horrible luck, including getting side swiped in my 5 month old 12 GT when it was parked. I decided I'm trading it in soon and buying a 5000 dollar truck that I don't give a fuck about. I'm tired of worrying about it every day. It sucks that people these days have no respect for others people's property.
When you're done, can I borrow this truck? I'd love to go squeeze in front of some double lane parking idiots with dents/scratches on their car.

Traded in the Neon when I got the 'Stang. Here's a photo of her at age 12, the day before I let her go.
That's why I responded. He asked why people do this and I answered. If you park a spot or two away, then both sides of your car are exposed. So the reason some people park next to you, is to protect their car and at the same time protect yours. But because some people think everyone is out to get them, they think these people are pricks. It's very possible that the owner of the minivan also has an expensive car in his garage and he thinks he's doing the GT owner a "solid" by protecting one of his sides. The point is guys... not everyone who does this is being an a-hole.
