best question was when the officer pulled me over.

"well, we have a few things going on, no front plate, windows are a little dark, and whats the obstruction by the rear plate?"

nice

Officer: know why I pulled you over
Beefcake: Cuz I let you
it's funny when you get cool officers, i was delivering lund his 13 gt500 in PA a couple years back,

and i got pulled over in MD on the way, and the cop came walking up from behind, as i'm looing in the side mirror, i see him run his finger against the trunk line, i'm like "he's a car guy"

he asked how fast the car would go, i said "not sure, you pulled me over before i got there", lol

he let me go too...

Install went great no issues ! I do not have the cable installed yet, still thinking of a good way to set it up.

For curiosity's sake, how did you ultimately locate and drill the hole for the mount?

It reuses two factory bolt holes and you drill 8 more. That easy

I was more looking for the hole in the bumper cover. On second thought it looks as if the base doesn't protrude through the cover so you could just mark it from behind?

Yes paper towel roll in the mount, install the bumper cover and mark from behind
