I just ordered Magnetic, Track Pack no stripe. I'm not too crazy about the black rims. I know they will help with brake dust but I'm probably going to paint mine a shade of dark silver. I'll get a second set for track days with some cup 2's

Has anyone painted their rims??

I also heard that the Shelby uses a different bolt size so maybe the aftermarket will come out with some nice options..I hope.

Thanks

Try use Plasti Dip first, to make sure you like the color.

I agree I can't get over the black wheels. To me a dark silver or grey wheel would look great. I don't think you will have any issues with lug size as my old 2010 gt500 wheels bolted up fine, getting the right offset will be a little trickier. Two wheels I keep considering are the XO Verona graphite and the outlaw cdc satin gunsmoke both split 5 spoke the look is not too different than stock but color would look great in my opinion. I like your idea of painting but wonder how much time and or money you would be out vs. buying a new set of shoes. I know the plasti dip can look good is quick and cheap but I'm thinking more perminant

Just a suggestion...not easily reversible, but I've had my Audi wheels powder coated with awesome results. The powdercoating company gently sandblast the rim and then coated them (in black lol)...finish is tough as nails and looks great 2 years later.
